Recently, two of our Simcenter Testing application engineers squared off in a contest - to create the coolest example of using cursors in Simcenter Testlab possible.
The results are below! The following rules were used when creating these examples:
Displays and cursors had to be created from scratch - no premade examples. This way, every step used to make the examples can be seen.
Examples could be created in Simcenter Testlab or Simcenter Testlab Neo. Since displays and cursors are the same in both applications, the examples can be done in either platform.
The examples created included: 1. Automatic Peak Cursor 2. Frequency, Spectrum, Order Processing Cursor 3. Matrix-Heatmap Display and Cursors 4. Overlay Data from Two Spectral Maps using Coupled Cursor 5. Order Cursor and Point Cloud Display 6. Non-linear Order Cursor
Note that there are custom displays created in both Simcenter Testlab and Simcenter Testlab Neo. Here are instructions for creating custom displays in both software packages:
