The Simcenter Qsources Integral Shaker is a general use electrodynamic inertia shaker. This shaker enables Frequency Response Function (FRF) measurements in an efficient and accurate way. Typical size of structures under test range from full vehicle down to engine subcomponents of only several kilogram. The patented internal decoupling suspension of the inert mass combined with integrated force and driving point accelerometer allows to measure excite all body connection interfaces with suspension and driveline within one day. The fact the shaker does not need any alignment or external support makes that data collection for modal analysis is done very efficiently.
