Simcenter Testlab 2506 was released in June 2025. "2506" is 25 for the year 2025 and 06 for the month of June.

Previous release was Simcenter Testlab 2406.

New acoustic highlights of Simcenter Testlab 2506 include:
  • Simcenter Testlab Neo Sound Quality
    • FFT Based Articulation Index added in addition to filter based Articulation Index
    • Sound Metric Map calculations (Prominence Maps, Tone-to-Noise maps, Loudness maps)
  • Sound Power
    • Frequency and octave sections on sound power map
    • Overall level on sound power map
    • K1 correction for background noise for directivity
  • Pass-by Noise Testing
    • Wind speed data max over 10 recordings
    • Driver aid extensions

Highlights of Simcenter Testlab 2506 Modal Analysis include:
Simcenter Testlab Neo Modal Analysis has Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered mode selection.  After selecting the modes, the Modal Assurance Criterion and Modal Synthesis are automatically calculated.


 
NEO PROCESS DESIGNER 

New features in 2506 Neo Process Designer include:
  • Multi Reference Processing for FRFs and Crosspowers including SVD truncation and balancing
  • Additional map statistic methods (averaged and peak order spectrum)
  • Block methods in Simcenter Testlab Neo Process Designer: Import block method and Align X Axis Block method
  • Extensions to variables including conditions and Excel

The use of variables in processes includes conditional usage of variables and support of Excel.

 
TRANSFER PATH ANALYSIS

    • In-situ TPA for blocked forces
  • Dynamic mount stiffness calculator in Neo

  • Noise simulator pre-processing including order extraction and coherent spectra processing (Neo Process Designer)
